Have you ever wondered how they make those remarkable aquascape structures? MarcoRocks E-Marco-400 Aquascaping Kit is how!

The kit includes everything you will need to create your own mortar that is specially modified to keep the joints from becoming brittle in saltwater. The cement, once mixed will turn into a paste-like consistency that you can then use to bond live rock together to create a permanent, long-lasting bond. Using a cement mortar can have its advantages over other adhesives, most notably the way coralline algae spreads onto the rocks. Many types of glues, epoxies, and other polymer based adhesives will actually repel coralline algae coverage, where MarcoRocks E-Marco-400 allows the algae to grow naturally making the seams disappear much faster than other methods.

Have you ever looked at those intricate saltwater aquascapes and wondered how someone was able to make all the overhangs and arches? It most likely involved MarcoRocks E-Marco-400 aquascaping mortar! This coralline-colored E-Marco Mortar perfectly matches the color of MarcoRocks’ Coralline Rock for a seamless look without any extra work to disguise the “seams.” Once fully cured, you’ll be left with a permanent, long-lasting bond.

This 5 lb kit comes with everything you need, including a convenient mixing bucket.

 

Instructions:

  1. Top off the MarcoRocks Liquid Polymer Concentrate pouch with freshwater. Seal bag and shake well.
  2. We recommend mixing in small amounts, making new batches as you go. Mix a small amount of powder and liquid in the bucket provided. Mix well with a spatula until contents are thick, wet, and with no lumps. Add more liquid or powder to achieve this consistency. The product has an approximate working time of 15 minutes and will reach full strength in 24 hours.

E-Marco Tips:

  • Do not handle your new aquascape for 1-2 hours. If you must handle, do so gently. You cannot re-wet and re-work.
  • If using live rock or rock with corals on it, we suggest using a spray bottle filled with tank water and we the live rock and coral for that 1-2 hour period.

ur famous Reef Saver Rock cut to offer a smooth, flat single surface. We recommend placing this rock under any rock work at the boundary layer between the glass and rock display. This design allows the second layer of your scape to safely “float” above this bottom layer, promoting healthy flow around the rock work and over the substrate. Foundation Rock can be siliconed to the glass if desired.

Another aquascape option is placing the rock flat side up for a shelf look.
